Thief caught red-handed at ATM terminal by card owner in Lagos

A thief has been allegedly caught at the Ejigbo area of Lagos State
-The thief was alleged to been caught while withdrawing money with a stolen ATM card by the card owner

A criminal has been allegedly caught red handed while withdrawing money by the the card owner at NNPC bus/stop branch of the Access bank, Ejigbo, Lagos state.
The criminal was said to have tricked the card owner of her card at Iyana Ejigbo branch of UBA bank ATM terminal with the ruse of helping her, Linda Ikeji reports.
Linda Ikeji reader, who sent in the story has this to say: "I and my boyfriend drove down to access bank situated at NNPC bus/stop, Ejigbo to make some transactions via ATM this afternoon. Lo and behold we met a queue and had to join it. Meanwhile, a guy was making multiple withdrawals and other customers started grumbling because it was just one machine that was dispensing cash.
"Just as he was about to roundup, a lady appeared from behind in tears and held on to d man making the withdrawals.
"To the astonishment of everybody, we asked the lady what the problem was and she said the guy in question tricked her at UBA bank ATM at Iyana Ejigbo bus stop some minutes ago by acting as though he wanted to help her effect withdrawals and only to tell her that her card was bad and while giving her back her card, he gave her a wrong card, haven gotten her PIN number.
Afterwards, the guy disappeared and only for her to be receiving multiple ATM withdrawal alert to the tune of over 80k till she got him red-handed with her ATM and withdrawn cash.
"Upon interrogating the guy, he started pleading...trust Lagosians, He was heavily descended on before the mobile men attached to the bank came to his rescue.", she said.
Meanwhile, the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) has announced the arrest of over 100 armed robbery, kidnap and cult suspects in Ogun state.
The Sun reports that the state command of the squad also recovered 45 arms and ammunitions from the hideouts of the suspects.
