Available in C300, C43 AMG Potencies
Mercedes-Benz has long enjoyed a healthy reputation for quality, comfort, and solidity, but it is once again making cars that are beautiful, too. The latest in the company’s string of handsome designs is the all-new C-class cabriolet, which may be among the most attractive vehicles on the star-studded floor atthe 2016 Geneva show, where it makes its debut.
Closely related to the recently launched C-class coupe, the convertible is fitted with a multilayer softtop that we expect will offer high levels of refinement when it’s raised. Interior space is similar to that of the coupe, but there actually is more headroom in this convertible version.
In the U.S., Mercedes-Benz will launch the C cabrio in two forms: the C300, with a 241-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, and the AMG C43, with a 362-hp twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6. Both engines funnel their output through a nine-speed automatic, but whereas the C300 will be available with rear- or 4MATIC all-wheel drive, all four wheels will be powered in every C43.https://bit.ly/2hBvjRY
The C-class cabriolet aims to be a year-round convertible, and owners will be able to lower the top well into the brisk part of the calendar thanks to the standard Airscarf system, which blows warm air from the front headrests to keep your neck toasty.
This C also will offer Mercedes’ goofy-looking but effective Aircap wind deflector, which rises from the upper edge of the windshield frame to discourage turbulent and/or cool air from entering the cabin when the top is down https://bit.ly/2hBvjRY
