Christmas Day was not a happy one for a family in Likoni, Mombasa where an enraged woman badly attacked her husband causing him serious burns
The woman, whose husband claims to have issued several threats to attack him before, later ran away leaving the man writhing in pain
Police in Likoni, Mombasa are looking for a woman who burnt her husband with boiled cooking oil on Christmas Day.
Evelyn Atieno is reported to have accused her husband Bruce Omondi of infidelity on the material day.
According to a report by Citizen Digital, Atieno bought two litres of cooking oil which she boiled then poured on Omondi’s head, chest and privates.
Area Chief Willy Simba confirmed the incident saying Atieno, 30, attacked her husband of three years in his sleep.
Omondi was rushed to the Coast General Hospital where he is receiving treatment. On the other hand, police have asked members of the public to report whenever they spot Atieno.
