Fayose could have bribed Pastor Adeboye with huge amount of money - APC
Fayose is a man that can bribe even an angel of God to endorse the devil.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti state has slammed the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Enoch Adeboye for commending Governor Ayodele Fayose, for what he called the governor’s courage and willingness to defend his people and the cause of the common man in the country.
According to Premium Times, the party in a statement in Ado Ekiti on Sunday, December 25 through its state chairman, Jide Awe, alleged that Fayose could have bribed Pastor Adeboye with huge amount of money to get such endorsement.
The APC said it was surprised that a cleric of Adeboye’s standing could praise Governor Fayose for his persistent insults and abuses on President Muhammadu Buhari.
The party said the cleric should be seen as speaking for himself and his comment must not be seen as representing that of the entire members of the RCCG.
The APC described Fayose as a man that can bribe even an angel of God to endorse the devil and warned Mr. Adeboye to avoid what will make the people of Ekiti rise against him.
The APC rebuked Adeboye for choosing this period of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ to embark on praise singing of a character like Mr. Fayose.
The party called on members of the RCCG, especially families of the founder, Josiah Akindayomi, to call Adeboye to order before he destroys the church with his involvement in politics.
It said the pastor must not be allowed to destroy the legacies of the founder of the Redeemed Church and the entire members of the church.

According to the APC, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is a staunch member of the RCCG and what is expected of the cleric was support for members of his church, not praise singing of Mr. Fayose.
In another report, the APC has described the capture of Boko Haram’s last stronghold, Sambisa Forest, as a well-deserved and a welcome development.
The party in a statement on Sunday, December 25, commended the Nigerian Armed Forces and President Muhammadu Buhari on the great success of Operation Lafiya Dole which resulted in the capture of the stronghold of the insurgents on Friday, December 23.
According to the APC national publicity secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, the victory over the insurgents is in fulfilment of one of the key promises made by the party to protect the citizenry and effectively secure all Nigerian territory.
