Woman arrested for selling babies in Borno

As Borno is battling Boko Haram insurgency and its aftermath following the capture of Sambisa forest, another menace has reared its head in the form of baby factories.
One Madam Ngozi was arrested by security operatives following reports that she was the ring leader in the business of selling children in Borno.
The woman was arraigned before a high court in Maiduguri,.
It is not known yet if the children are from IPD centres or connected to terrorism

In a similar incident, A female pastor identified as Peace Udoh was arrested for allegedly running a baby factory in her church, The Divine Yard Deliverance Ministry, located at Iyana Iyesi, Ota Ogun state.
The Lagos state police command arrested the 47-year-old pastor on Sunday, December 18, after receiving a tip-off on an on-going operation.
According to The Punch, Udoh was apprehended with an accomplice, Angela Akpan (a nurse), who assists her with complicated childbirth cases at her clinic located a few meters away from the church.
The Lagos state commissioner of police, Fatai Owoseni while parading the suspects on Monday, December 19, explained that police detectives raided the syndicate after receiving intelligence report that, Udoh was looking for a buyer.
