Two Indian sisters who are Canadian citizens, Kiran and Jyoti Matharoo, have been charged to court for allegedly being part owners of notorious website, NaijaGistLive.com, a site where malicious stories were written about Nigerian billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, his wife and daughter, DJ Cuppy.
The website is used to extort money from rich Nigerians. Apparently, they messed with the wrong billionaire this time.
According to reports, the billionaire filed a complaint with the police and it was during investigation that a phone number connected with the website was traced to the two sisters at their room at Eko Hotel. They tried to extort money from billionaire businessman Femi Otedola who filed a complaint against them which led to their arrest.
The sisters who are 'big girls' on Instagram made confessional statements revealing they own the site and issued an apology to Otedola for allegedly plotting to blackmail him. The sisters were at Yaba Chief magistrate court on December 23 to face charges of cyber bullying, blackmail and extortion.
Before they met their waterloo with the Forte Oil boss, the two ladies dealt ruthlessly with a lot of Nigerian billionaires. They used their slanderous website to wreck many homes, destroy peace and love in many homes.
